Ever heard about supertasters? No? Well, Haystack employs about 38 of them! These people are extremely sensitive to small differences in the intensity of flavour and fragrance, which makes them very important for maintaining an overall product quality.
We scout supertasters through a very challenging selection process that consists out of two parts. Firstly, they have to prove they’re extremely talented when it comes to tasting – and more important: being able to tell what exactly they experience in flavour. When this is over, they are required to follow a pretty intensive six month training.
