Since July 2019, Maaike joined the board of SMART, an organization for Starting Marketing And Research Talent. SMART is part of the MOA (Dutch organization for market research) and organizes each year various events for young professionals. The aim of SMART is to connect marketers and researchers with each other and inspire through events.
Each year in January and October a SMART-up takes place, an afternoon session with a presentation about a trending topic in the world of marketing and market research, which is followed by a drink. Besides, yearly in April, the SMART congress is held, which is a full-day event with various speakers around a certain theme. For instance, in 2019 the theme was agile, with speakers from Perspective, Accenture and Heineken.
Maaike will contribute to the SMART board with her vast experience in market research and strong organization skills she obtained through memberships of former committees and boards. And as Haystack was already a proud sponsor of SMART, this is a great next step in the collaboration.
